Ingredients:
  • 1-1/2 quarts boiling water
  • 1 package macaroni and cheese dinner
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 3/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1-1/4 cups condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 6 ounces canned tuna, or canned salmon, flaked (on sale!)
  • 1 cup canned peas, drained, optional
Cooking Directions:

Stir macaroni into boiling salted water. Boil rapidly 7 to 10 minutes, or until macaroni is tender. Drain. Add margarine or butter, half the milk and contents of sauce packet. Mix well. Stir in soup and remaining milk. Gently stir in tuna (or salmon) and peas. Heat to serving temperature.
