At Angelo Caputo's Fresh Markets, we want you to be able to find exactly what you want at a price that is both fair and competitive. That's the reason our (fresh) Meat Department offers such a wide selection of USDA certified meat cuts and grade choices. We also make certain to give customers an opportunity to “upgrade” their purchases with select branded products.
When you visit most of our stores, you will find that we offer our fresh meat and poultry in two different (but adjacent) areas. Each section has a full-service counter where you get personal attention from one of our qualified meat cutters. Alternatively, if you are in a hurry, you may decide to save time by selecting a package from our pre-cut and wrapped meat offerings, which are found in the self-serve meat case.
Our customers also appreciate that, whenever possible, we find ways to pass on additional savings.
Selecting larger meat parcels means an overall reduction in packaging and labor cost, and thus, these are a greater value. We call such packages “Family Packs” and as a general rule, you will save from 5% to 25% when you purchase a Family pack item of 3 or more pounds.
We realize that the quality of the meat that you buy is critical and that is why we have elected to offer our customers some of the top names in the meat and poultry business.
For your poultry needs, we only sell Grade A chickens, turkeys and other fowl, but if your family demands the very best, feel free to choose from our extensive offering of Perdue® brand fresh, all natural chicken products.
As for beef, we offer two excellent choices:
Montana Ranch Piedmontese Beef – an Angelo Caputo's exclusive. Piedmontese cattle are naturally lower in fat and cholesterol and naturally higher in protein-dense meat. The result is a tenderer, tastier and healthier cut of beef.
Whatever your needs, be certain to speak with one of our friendly and experienced meat cutters. They will be very happy to answer your questions, give you preparation tips and menu ideas, and provide you with the best meat and poultry products available that will suit your needs.
